The Event
Rough River State Park is the site of the 28th Annual Sport Aviation Weekend. We will have the usual
airplane judging of all classes, judging of pilot's landing abilities, and just plain fun getting together with old friends
and making new ones. Wing camping is allowed, and accommodations include several local motels, as well as the modern lodge
located at the park. Campsites are rented on a first come basis, no reservations. State Park Lodge reservations are 1-800-325-1713
(be sure to mention Sport AViation Weekend).

The Activities
Judging of homebuilt, antiques, war birds, amphibians,classics, contemporaries, longest distance
flown, best landing, and worst landing. Forums will range from aircraft inspections, aviation safety, to a golf scramble for
interested players. There will be a hospitality get together on Friday night and another on Saturday night before and after
the banquet. There will be door prizes, and a special guest speaker. Activities begin Friday night, judging Saturday
afternoon, with awards banquet on Saturday night. A schedule of events will be available at the registration desk. Make your
